New Director of Planning, Assessment and Research
The Libraries recently welcomed Kevin Ruminson as Director of Planning, Assessment and Research. In this new position he provides critical leadership and analysis as the Libraries adapt to changing user needs, integrate new technologies, and respond to rapid campus growth.
Ruminson’s scope of responsibilities is wide ranging and includes user needs assessment, benchmarking, evaluation of service delivery effectiveness, analysis of resource allocations, and strategic planning. He joins UCI with more than seven years of experience conducting employment analysis, most recently with the California State University Office of the Chancellor and earlier with the New York State Unified Court System. His education includes a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the Graduate Center at the City University of New York.
